Dr. Rodger Elofson

Dr. ElofsonDr. Rodger Elofson was born in East Grand Forks, ND. He  graduated from Broadmoor High School and has been in Baton Rouge since 1972.  Dr. Elofson graduated from LSU with a degree in BS Biochemistry in 1981. He then graduated from LSU Medical School in New Orleans in 1985. His Pediatrics Internship and Residency was completed at LSU Medical Center and Earl K. Long (Baton Rouge, LA). He was Chief Resident at Earl K. Long from 1987-1988. Dr. Elofson has been in private practice since 1988.

Dr. Elofson practices medicine with a supportive style that partners with “his” parents.  He involves parents and patients in their healthcare/parenting choices and finds it fulfilling to work with patients and their parents, establishing healthy developmental and behavioral experiences.  He makes your child’s health and well being his priority.  Dr. Elofson appreciates the privilege to be a part of your family’s growth and is humbled by the opportunity to journey with you as your child grows into young adulthood.

Dr. Dana Fakouri

Dr. Dana Fakouri was born in New Orleans, LA in 1964. She grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and graduated from Tara High School in 1982. Dr. Fakouri graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Microbiology in 1986. She then graduated from LSU Medical School in New Orleans in 1990. Her Pediatrics Internship and Residency was completed at Charity Hospital (New Orleans, LA) and Children’s Hospital (New Orleans, LA). She has been in private practice since 1993.

Dr. Fakouri practices pediatric medicine with a special child-friendly approach.  Parents are often times involved in decision making, and a parent’s comfort and confidence in the treatment plan is given the utmost priority.  She enjoys getting to know all of her little patients and gets great satisfaction from “talking and visiting” with each and every one of them.

Dr. Brannon Perilloux

Dr. Brannon Perilloux was born in Houston, TX in 1968. He grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and graduated from Catholic High School in 1987. Dr. Perilloux graduated from Duke University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 1991. He then graduated from LSU Medical School in New Orleans in 1995. His Pediatric Internship and Residency was completed at Children’s Hospital (New Orleans, LA) and LSU (New Orleans, LA). Dr. Perilloux has been in private practice since 1998.

Dr. Perilloux encourages parents and patients to be active participants in their medical care.  He likes to take the time to re-enforce his diagnosis with full explanations and written instructions for home.  Dr. Perilloux can fully empathize with parents of ADHD children and enjoys participating in the evaluation and treatment of those children.  He values all of his patients and wants them all to be healthy, both physically and mentally, and to become productive adult members of society.

On a Personal Note:

He is happily married to Alicia and they have four children. He is a loyal supporter of Duke Basketball, Catholic High School, and St. Aloysius. Dr. Perilloux’s interests include basketball, golf, landscaping, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Lori Cook

Dr. Lori Cook was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy. Dr. Cook graduated Summa Cum Laude from LSU with a degree in Zoology in 2002. She then graduated from LSU Medical School in New Orleans in 2007. Her pediatric Internship and Residency was completed at Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston, SC) in 2010. She has been in private practice since 2010.
